Abseil Heights:
Position Title: Registered Nurse

Our new 40-bed psychiatric hospital in Toms River, New Jersey, is being developed to deliver a modern, patient-centered approach to inpatient psychiatric care. Located on a comprehensive behavioral health campus, the hospital will provide acute psychiatric stabilization and individualized treatment while connecting patients to a full continuum of behavioral health and addiction recovery services.

The campus will bring together inpatient psychiatric care, medical detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and outpatient mental health services within one coordinated system of care.

Our approach goes beyond short-term stabilization, focusing on clinical recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term wellness. Through evidence-based treatment, multidisciplinary care teams, and coordinated transitions between levels of care, we aim to reduce fragmentation, improve continuity, and support patients throughout their recovery journey.

Our vision is to create an integrated behavioral healthcare destination where patients receive the right care, at the right level, with a clear pathway from crisis stabilization to lasting recovery.

Job description:
The Registered Nurse provides the highest level of care as a first step towards long term healing for those struggling with mental health. Communication between patients and clinicians provide skillful patient care in preparation and distribution of medication to patients, detailed and thorough patient care notes, and making rounds ensuring patient needs are met in a timely and proficient manner.

Registered Nurse Duties/Responsibilities:
• Monitoring of patients to assess for clinical signs and symptoms
• Administer Medications as ordered
• Provides correct and timely documentation which reflects services provided
• Confers with and assists the Medical Director and the Psychiatrist.

Registered Nurse Requirements:
• Clean, active and current RN license
• 2+ years experience in a residential or hospital setting
• 1+ years Substance Abuse experience preferred
• Current CPR License

Registered Nurse Shifts Available:
• Night shift, 7:00PM - 7:30AM
• 3 shifts per week, may include 1 weekend shift.

Registered Nurse Compensation:
• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
• Night and weekend differential when applicable
