Job description:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor supports the Finance Department in the daily functions. This person will manage a team and multiple entities, while proactively reviewing documentation and ensuring invoices are accurate and processed timely.

• Supervising a team of 2 AP Associates
• Managing multiple entities
• Proactively inform vendors of documentation needed, statement errors, address updates, and 1099 related documentation
• Supervisor ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices
• Verify by working with other departments all invoices have the appropriate approvals
• Manage appropriate month end cut-off of AP transactions
• Ensure records are filed timely for quick reference; maintain accounts payable files for multiple years while adhering to Company
record retention policies
• Manage a large check run, ACH, On-line payments and high volume of vendors, ensure prompt pay discounts are received when
• Manage travel expense reports

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Level)
• Experience with Great Plains desirable
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Advance AP knowledge
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with strong written and oral communication
• Must be a self-starter and have a strong work ethics
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• AA Degree or Vocational training preferred in a related field
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role

• Full Time 8:30 am to 5:00 pm M-F
• May or may not include weekends
